This particular property required significant updates and presented unique challenges throughout the sale process. Lisa worked tirelessly for over 11 months to bring you multiple buyers. Several offers fell through due to circumstances completely outside of her control, such as financing issues or buyers misrepresenting their ability to purchase. Despite these setbacks, Lisa remained committed and ultimately brought a qualified cash buyer who personally delivered funds to the title company and closed successfully. Regarding the closing date, at no time was there ever a change made without your agreement. When the buyer inquired about moving closing up slightly, Lisa referenced dates you had previously provided and suggested what appeared to be an open option. The moment you communicated that it did not work for your schedule, closing proceeded on the original date you preferred. As for the settlement statement, delays in sending documents were strictly a title company matter. Lisa was in frequent contact with title throughout and did her best to keep everyone informed. We also want to clarify that keys were not released prior to title having cashiers check from the buyer. The buyer hand-delivered a cashier’s check to the title company to ensure a smooth and secure closing process. Lisa went above and beyond during this listing — even personally checking on the home several times and winterizing it herself ahead of a freeze to protect your property.
